Lower limb surgery patients in local anesthetics (isobaric bupivacaine) position comparison of the implementation spinal anesthesia of early mobilization and post-spinal headache efects

This study was performed prospectively by comparing the two groups on a total of 105 patients between the ages of 18-65 that ASA I-III status group undergoing low extremity surgery. Spinal anesthesia was performed in the sitting position 52 of patients, in the lateral decubitus position 53 of patients. Heart rate, mean arterial blood pressure and periferic oxygen saturation were recorded before spinal anesthesia and after spinal anesthesia at five minute intervals. Also sensory block onset time and motor block (Bromage 3) onset time were detected and compared in the both groups. In Addition; the muscle strenght (Bromage 0) return time after the operation and post-spinal headache which is one of the complications were compared between the groups. Lateral decubitus and sitting 0.minutes previous position before spinal anesthesia and spinal anesthesia in patients after administration of the 5., 15. and 30. minutes in heart rate, mean arterial pressure were lower statistically. Among the statistically significant reduction in the groups there was not significant difference between the groups. Saturation values were significantly higher in the groups at 5. and 10. minutes after spinal anesthesia induction but there was not significant different between the groups. Muscle strength return time was significantly longer in the sitting position than lateral decubitus position. Sensory block level in the lateral decubitus position was statistically significant at higher levels. There was no statistically significant difference in terms of post-spinal headache. As a result; in the patients wanted higher level sensory loss and want muscle strenght return time more shorter can prefer lateral decubitis position because there is not any significant difference between the blood pressure levels against to sitting position.
