The aim of our study is evaluate the symptoms of nasal obstructions before andafter the ablation radiofrequency in hyperthrophy of the inferior concha, by means of avisual analog scale, to examine the changes of nasal passage before and after the operation via acoustic rhinometry and to measure the effects of radiofrequency.This study was made in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Dicle University Medical School in the period ^ between February 2007 and January 2010 ^ . Ablation radiofrequency was performed on 30 patients under local anaestesia who had been presented with chronic nasal obstruction because of the inferior concha hyperthrophy. The patients were between 23 and 35 years of age, with an average age of 28.2 years. For objective evaluation of the patients before and 8 weeks after Radiofrequency application anterior rinomanometri. was made. For subjective analysis a visual analog scale was used for statisticall analysis. The data obtained evaluated the efficacy of radiofrequency for the inferior turbinate hypertrophy.In the evaluation, we found statistically significant improvements values between preoperative and postoperative values, including visual analog scale and nasal obstruction symptom scores, and nasal patency with rhinometry values.As a result, due to the ease of application and minimal invasiveness, radiofrequency thermal ablation therapy evaluate the tests subjectively and objectively for nasal congestion due to inferior turbinate hypertrophy This practice has shown to be effective and reliable
