Abstract (EN)

İn this excercise Altay, Tuva, Hakas and Şor epics was examined in the terms of horse motives. The excercise consists of, introduction and three chapters.A brief information was given in the examined introduction chapter of epic corpus and areas that the epics occured. Also in the Turkish Culture the outcome was given about the work performed on the horses.First chapters heading is ?Horse Classification? , in this chapter, it focuses on origin of the horse, physical specialties, Extraordinary specialties, and Horse Harnesses.In the second chapter ?Function of The Horse Epics?, it explains about ?horse hero association?, ?the trial between the horse and the hero?, ?the horse and the hero going on a journey?, ?the horse saving the hero from difficult situations?, ?the horse going on a mission for the hero?, ?competitions that the horse enter? and farewell of the horse.The outcome of the work that was performed in the conclusion chapter has been presented to attention. At the end of the study the index and the bibliography were given.Key words: Epic, Altay, Tuva, Hakas, Şor, Horse.
