Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of alternating temperature to germination and somephysiological parameters of lentil species under water stress were investigated. Forthis purpose; seven local lentil species (Çağıl, Yerli Kırmızı, Çiftçi, Emre, Özbek,Kafkas and Fırat 87) at climate room, at four alternating temperatures (10-150C, 15-200C, 25-250C and 25-300C), at sand-soil-perlit (1/1/1) mixed by using Hoaglandnutrient solution and %4 PEG?6000 (w/v) solution, until flowering term were grown. At harvest plants; %germination, relative water content, stem length, chlorophyll andcarotenoid concentration, proline, SH-compounds and ascorbic acid, SOD enzymeactivity and soluble protein amount were analyzed.According to result of study; for all temperatures, from the point of view %germinatiıon, relative water content, stem length, total amino acid, chlorophyll andcarotenoid concentration, proline and SOD enzyme activity was found that theconclusions of PEG treatment higher than control group. It was understood that thespecies of sensitive to water stress and alternating temperatures were Kafkas, Çiftçiand Özbek; while the durable species were Yerli Kırmızı, Emre, Çağıl and Fırat 87.Key Words: Lentil, SOD, Proline, Water stress, Alternating temperature.
