Abstract (EN)

Accurate modeling and estimation of mineral resources are critically important for the economic and technical success of mining operations. In gold deposits, the search ellipse used in resource estimation directly influences block modeling by determining the effective directions and distances of data points. Traditionally, a fixed search ellipse applies a constant geometry across the entire area, which can lead to modeling errors, especially in structurally complex gold deposits. On the other hand, a dynamic search ellipse adapts its orientation and dimensions according to the geological structure at each location, providing a more realistic and accurate estimation opportunity. The main research problem in this study is to determine the extent to which dynamic search ellipsoids significantly affect grade and tonnage estimations. Thus, the aim is to achieve more accurate and reliable results in resource modeling.
