Abstract (EN)
Environmental problems such as global warming, depletion of natural resources, depletion of the ozone layer, and reduction of biodiversity that threaten the world are increasing rapidly as a result of industrial industrialization due to population growth and developing needs. Sustainable development approach of industries should be adopted in order to prevent and/or permanent solution of environmental problems. There are various models such as clean production, industrial symbiosis, natural step, design and sustainability that businesses can use in their industrial sustainability studies. Although these models may seem different in terms of content, sustainable practices aim to improve environmental labeling, change or redesign the raw material possibilities of products, production process, equipment used in production, and prevent or reduce their environmental impacts. In this study, aluminum washing and aluminum ultrasonic washing units of a company that has machining, pipe forming, welding, washing and assembly processes in the automotive sector were evaluated within the scope of clean production model. The aim of the study is to decide on the unit that provides optimum environmental and economic conditions. By providing the data of two different washing processes used in aluminum washing in the company, the energy consumption and water consumption parameters of the processes were analyzed, and the effect of alternative renewable energy use on the energy consumption of the processes was examined. The situation of meeting the energy needs of the washing processes, which have a significant impact on the energy consumption of the company, which will be obtained as a result of equipping the company with a solar panel, which has a roof surface area of 4800 m2, has been evaluated. The daily average solar radiation value of Düzce has been determined as 3.70 kWh/ m2 day and the average sunshine duration is 6.5 hours per day. It has been calculated that 17,684 kW of electrical energy will be obtained per day from the planned solar panels and the kg CO2 emission will be 15.5 times less. When the wastewater results of the units were compared, an efficient process was determined according to the wastewater amount and pollution parameters. By analyzing the data, a process that provides optimum conditions, high performance and minimal environmental impact has been revealed.
