Abstract (EN)

The molds used in the automobile industry are mostly aluminum alloy that manufactured by casting. There is a need to improve the surface properties of aluminum molds used in polyurethane foam seat production. Therefore, the foam in order to be readily separable from aluminum is considered polymer coatings with a non-stick property. In order to ensure adherence of this coatings various processes have been done prior to coating the aluminum substrate. In this study, Etial 171 Aluminium alloy is used with different surface treatments. Sanded, polished and anodized in which the Al base is tested by experiments can show optimum functionality of the coatings. Anodizing conditions, the contact angle of the aluminum substrate, the surface roughness and it is located in the optical microscope images of the aluminum. Sol-gel method is used in the production of coatings, which four different coating composition is applied. Ultrasonic and magnetic stirrer into the prepared compositions using a rate 3,5% two different inorganic nano powder (Al2O3 and SiO2) was added and application to the substrate material by the spray coating method, then curing was carried out under appropriate conditions. Such coatings together with granite-like polymer coating which production carried in the industry were also investigated. Coating thickness mesurement, surface roughness, optical microscope examination, SEM and EDS analysis, AFM examination, contact angle detection, cross-cut adhesion test, tensile test and XRD analyzes were performed for the characterization samples of the coatings produced. The result of these analyzes; sandblasted aluminum substrate materials applied to nano SiO2 powder doped with polymer coating (second compound) and the granite-like polymer coating have been found to show good feature. (The contact angle of the coatings are found to be 113.1° and 134.5°, respectively. Cross-cut adhesion of the coatings both as a result of the test was also observed to exhibit behaviour appropriate to the type ASTM 5B. This result showed that the two coatings of a good adsorption. As a result of the tensile test made on granite-like polymer coating, tensile strength value was measured at 2.93 MPa.
