Foundation of God believe in Alvin Plantinga's reformist epistemology

The problem of foundationalism resulting from the discussions in the field of philosophy in which the methods of analytical philosophy and the field of religious epistemology stating the possibility to approach religious beliefs rationally like the other beliefs by employing the methodological tools in epistemology are delicately applied by Alvin Plantinga to religious issues is a general approach established upon the problem of what are the conditions enabling a belief to be a basic belief in the context of justification problem. In this regard, foundationalism hypothesis, which provides a starting point which is not based on evidence for the infinite regress of justification problem along with the cluster of basic beliefs, divides the beliefs in two as basic beliefs and non-basic beliefs. This hypothesis addressed in terms of its classical and moderate versions in our study is based on the rejection of classical foundationalism and the acceptance of moderate foundationalism where the limits of cluster of basic beliefs are extended in terms of Plantinga's opinions on the subject. Furthermore, this issue which Plantinga addressed and evaluated within the early reformed epistemology is like a response to the evidentialist approach of classical foundationalism which is established on the views of internalism based on the deontological approach and is rooted in skeptical thinking that is an extension of Cartesian philosophy regarding the principles identified in terms of basic beliefs. This study in which we demonstrated that he adopted a moderate method rather than a strict rationalist and strict fideist polarization addresses the natural theological approach in terms of its positive and negative aspects and focuses on rationality of the belief in God without evidence in general. Furthermore, one of the significant topics in our study is the assurance concept representing the stage of Plantinga when he criticized some of the views he adopted in the early reformed epistemology, and matured his thoughts by questioning the relation between justification and evidence.
