Abstract (EN)
Alzheimer is a neuropsychiatric disorder that causes loss of memory and some cognitive functions of the mind and is called "early dementia" among the population. Alzheimer's disease has its own set of phases and each phase brings together the losses in a number of different functions for the patient. Thus Alzheimer's disease is accompanied by a growing burden in the process. In this study, the burden of care for patients with Alzheimer's disease will be examined in terms of quality of life and anxiety. Although the quality of life is not a clearly defined concept, a summary can be made by looking for a number of variables that point to quality. In this context, physiological and psychological well-being is a phenomenon referring to the quality of life that can develop good relationships with the social environment. However, anxiety is a psychological phenomenon that is separated from other affects by negative features, also expressed as anxiety and nausea. In this study, relatives of patients with Alzheimer's were taken as samples and beck anxiety and quality of life scales were applied on this sample. Findings were entered into the ANOVA test with SPSS 15.0 program and a meaningful relationship between the quality of life and anxiety was sought on the sample.
