Özet (EN)

The antimicrobial effect of Amanita phalloides extracts, one of the most poisonous mushroom species, prepared with chloroform, acetone, methanol and distilled water were investigated against Candida parapsilosis, Candida albicans, Methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA), Enterococcus faecalis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) species. In vitro disc diffusion method was used as a method. According to the findings; While the highest antibacterial activity was against MRSA and MSSA species, it was determined that it showed different levels of antibacterial activity against other bacteria. As a result; It was determined that only the extract of Amanita phalloides prepared with distilled water had an effect against bacteria but did not show an antifungal effect.
