The effect of triphasic training on the development of motoric features in amateur football players

Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was tried to determine the effect of 12-week triphasic training on the development levels of some motor skills in amateur male football players compared to traditional strength training. 26 male amateur football players (Age: 17.52 years, Height: 174.69 cm, Weight: 68.56 kg) without any health problems or injuries voluntarily participated in the study. The football players participating in the study were divided into two groups according to the simple random sampling technique. 15 players formed the Triphasic Training Group (TAG), and 11 players formed the Traditional Training Group (GAG). Triphasic training was applied to the TAG group after football technical-tactical training 3 days a week. In the GAG group, traditional strength training was applied after football technical-tactical training 3 days a week. SPSS package program was used in the analysis of the data. In the normality test, the skewness and kurtosis values of the data were checked. Dependent samples t-test was used in the analysis of normally distributed data. In statistical comparisons, the level of significance was accepted as p<0.05. In conclusion; Compared to traditional strength training, it was determined that triphasic training contributed more to the development of motoric characteristics such as flexibility, strength, agility, quickness, speed and endurance.
