Abstract (EN)

In the ıntroductory part of this study provided information about Arabic language teaching how to do during the Ottoman Empire. After specifying the problem and purpose, importance of the study, limitations, hypothesis and definitions were explaned. In the part of limitations, in order to compare the practical Arabic teaching methods of Amelî Mukâlemât ve Temrînât-ı Arabiyye with modern techniques, knowledge about the Arabic speaking books "Living in Arabic" (Hüseyin Günday, Şener Şahin, Cüneyt N. Şimşek), ?Active in Arabic? (Mehmet Hakkı Suçin) and ?Arabic Speaking Courses? preparatory -1-2-3 (İsmail Hâmetî B. Osman) selected among current Arabic speaking books, were mentioned. In the methods section, informations about the model of this research, the universe and the sample, the techniques of data collection, and the data analysis were presented. In the discussion chapter, general information about the written work and life author Mehmet Zihni Efendi and contributions to the teaching of Arabic was mentioned. In the next part the topics of book, the techniques of teaching and the methods of the Amelî Mukâlemât ve Temrînât-ı Arabiyye were attention is drawn to. In the second part, constructive analysis of organizations practice sentence and some grammar principles of Amelî Mukâlemât ve Temrînât-ı Arabiyye was made with the above mentioned 3 Arabic speaking books, and the results of this analysis were presented under 25 headings. As a result, the conclusion and the suggestion of study were presentedby making a general criticism of this book about teaching Arabic speaking
