Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to determine sustainable land use planning of Amik Plain using ecological and social-economical structures.Four stage was on the study; The first one was determination ecological and social factors, the second one was determination of suitability in terms of the main seven land use types, i.e agriculture, settlement, industry, forest, meadow pasture, protected area, recreational area. Suitability analyses made using linear combination model, which is the one multi criteria methodology. The third stage was to determine conflicts between potential suitability land uses and optimal land use maps. The final stage was to create a model to provide sustainable land use planning of Amik plain.Based on optimal land use results, 63,81 % of land suggested for agriculture, 9,51 % of land for settlement, 0,58 % for industry, 13,71 % for forest, 10,80 % for meadow pasture, 0,97 % for protected area, 0,61 % for recreational activities.
