Synthesisand characterization of metal complexes of schiff base ligands containing amino acids

In this study, metal complexes of Schiff base ligands containing amino acids were synthesized and characterized. (L1:{4-[(4-{[4-carboxymethyl-carba-moly)-phenylimino] methyl}benzylidene}-amino]-benzoylamino}-acetic acid) ve (L2 : 3-{4-[(4-{[4-(2-carboxy-ethylcarbamoly)-phenylimino]-methyl-benzylidene}-amino]-benzoylamino}-propionic acid) and Co(NO3)2.6H2O, FeCl3.6H2O salts are used in the formation of complexes. The structure of the synthesized complex are characterized using IR, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential thermal analysis (DTA), UV-Vis and magnetic susseptibility methods
