Abstract (EN)
Connecting phonemes are one way of removing the phonemic clashes at attachment points of suffixs. They are examined in two different categories, intervocalic euphonic consonants and connecting vowels. Presumably this situation has caused the use of intervocalic euphonic consonants in Turkish. /y/, is the only consonant that can be generalized as an connecting voice in Turkic. In Old Turkic, there are consonants different from /y/ emerging at the attachment points of suffixs. /s/ phoneme, occurs in case of a match to the vocal basis of the third person possessive suffix. We are thinking that the phoneme is the residue of the consonant in the initial phoneme of the archaic (p')i(n). Of these phonemes as /ş/ and /r/ consonants have emerged through linguistic analogy. Because of the initial consonant of the distributive numeral adjective suffix has fallen. In Old Turkic, other phoneme which is supposed to be the intervocalic euphonic consonant is /n/. Constant initial consonants of dative and accusative suffixes are an analogy origin phoneme. According to us, between the third person possessive suffix and noun of case suffixes /n/ are associated with archaic *i(n) pronoun. Probably, *i possessive pronoun and *+n archaic singular category suffix have been fused. As a result, the archaic * i (n) pronoun has appeared. Due to *+n and *i are fusing together /n/ phoneme could be called the prominal /n/. However, it is important to remember that this is a sterotyping singular category suffix. In Old Turkic, connecting vowels are /ı, i, u, ü/ phonemes. In a few text, /a, e/ are added to these vowels. In Old Turkic connecting phonemes, especially, after Proto-Turkic Era dramatically phonomic split quickly has expanded his phonomic evolution. Voice changes in connecting phonemes have increased. For this reason, in our thesis, we will examine the phonemic interactions in the connecting voices. In this way, we will try to embody phonemic changes in connecting phonemes with phonemic split diagrams. We believe that our work will give us important clues in understanding the origins of the connecting phonemes in Old Turkic.
