This study was carried out by using resource scanning and survey methods in order to explore what the string techniques and availability condition of string techniques used by students, which are included in violin course books of 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th classes of Anatolian Fine Arts High School.As a consequence of the assessment of obtained results through the violin training five of these techniques are used in 9th class, and eight are in 10th and 11th class and nine are used in 12th class. It is understood that the students of violin training doesn?t have sufficient knowledge relevant to string techniques; these techniques are not used at the rate they are required, the students are not really aware of these techniques. Considering this result attention was taken concerning there is a need for qualified violin training in Anatolian Fine Arts High School and offers concerning in this scope was submitted.
