SUMMARY Masters Thesis The Reflection Of Shamanism On Anatolian Stories Nilüfer YILDIRIM University of Fırat The Institute of Social Secience And Postgraduate Studyy in Turkish Public Literature 2004, Page: XTV + 440 The stories, the most important sort of Turkish public literature, are the cultural tresure of the nation and show national properities. This wealty treasure reflects people's belief, customs, traditions and life styles as a mirror. Also religion and belief element, the most important value of being a nation, have deeply embroidered to the stories. Realizing these have enhanced the importance of stories mostly. The Shamanism belief, which affects Turkish nation in some perrods of history, is hidden in stories. Key Words: Shamanism, culture, folk-tale, belief
