The analyse of Phrygian information signs available in Anatolian Civilizations Museum and their importance in graphic studies

In this study; two independent groups have been constituted among 11th class students who study the module of ?Idea and Message Symbolisation? taught in ?Graphic Pattern? lesson of the graphic and photography department of Anatolian Vocational High Schools. And one of these groups has been used as the experimental group and the other one as the control group. In both groups, some surveys have been carried out before and after the experiment, so that the model for the study has been generated. In the study, the applications of pre-test and final test have been applied to the students. In the study, the limitations are Etimesgut Anatolian Vocational High School for Girls and Gazi Osman Paşa Anatolian Vocational and Vocational High School which are within the borders of Ankara. In the findings section of the study; what is analysed is that the recognition and development of the ability to be able to comment upon the information signs which are available in the module of ?Idea and Message Symbolisation? taught in ?Graphic Pattern? lesson of the graphic and photography department of Anatolian Vocational High Schools for Girls and related with semiotics.It has been determined that students? level of interpretation and perception of the information signs is not in the required level as a result of the survey evaluations prepared by taking expert views into consideration. If vocational high school students carry out relevant researches and studies in the museums, this will really contribute to their occupational developments. In this context, it will be beneficial to express the importance of teaching, presentation and preservation of the cultural values in Anatolia where is the cradle of civilisation. So that; progress can be made in highlighting the principle of awareness in art education, being acquainted with artworks and their creation.Keywords: Museum, Symbol, Semiotics, Phrygian Era Information Signs.
