Özet (EN)

Anatolian Seljuk?s had contributions to affluent cultural heritage which has been accumulated by Anatolian societies such as Hittite, Urartu, Phrygia and Lycia, and introduced their sense of art with a new identity via Turkish-Islam era which has started within the settled life in Anatolia. The nomad culture, originated by Middle Asia and Persia, has helped to interact within Anatolian heritage and introduced animal style with their own manner. The animal figures which were a frequent subject in all art disciplines has been also used tiles, especially in palaces. There have been many researches about Anatolian Seljuk?s tiles and new art objects has been discovered at archeological digs. As it known, nearly all objects are rest under the ground as a result of either the natural disasters or the exposure to insensible people?s behaviors. Because of that, every archeological digging helps to reintegrate a new art object into Seljuk?s art. According to archeological digs and art history researches, there have been limited sources about animal figures and their symbolic meanings. Regard to this situation, the biggest reason behind choosing this particular topic is the absence of any sources on Seljuk?s animal figure, although there have been many publications about Ottoman ornamentation of art. By this way, it is expected that this work which includes the drawings of Seljuk?s animal figures would be a resource for the future researches on this topic.?ngilizce Anahtar Kelimeler:1-Tile Art2- Ceramic3- Animal Figure4- Anatolian Seljuk5- Form
