Özet (EN)
Although it is secured by many national and international laws, agreements, etc, the protection of the cultural heritage, which is our legacy from the past, the legacy of our future, its transfer to future generations; it is known that some works are damaged or partially or completely lost their original form due to many natural or artificial reasons such as wars and natural disasters. It is extremely important to record our cultural heritage in Anatolia, which has been the cradle of many civilizations throughout history with its location, fertile lands, underground and aboveground riches, to analyze its architectural features and to make designs using developing technologies, and to ensure that these works are kept alive in case they are damaged. Anatolian Seljuks, who ruled in Anatolia, contributed to our cultural heritage with buildings such as healing houses, caravanserais, bridges, inns, baths, madrasahs, mosques and lodges in different regions. In this study, the Islamic geometric patterns used in the architectural works brought to our cultural heritage by the Anatolian Seljuks will be analyzed accurately with the Polygonal technique for the preservation and promotion, and their parametric designs will be made in the computer environment with the help of advanced technology. Thus, the correct use of these works, blended from past to present, will increase in many sectors, especially in architecture. Islamic geometric patterns are named after the structure of the stars inside them. These stars were examined, reclassified, analyzed according to the polygon technique in the computer environment, and parametric designs were made in the Rhinoceros Grasshopper environment. Thanks to the transfer of stars to the digital environment, Islamic geometric patterns are easily formed and become compositions, providing accessibility and ease of use. In this way, the studied Islamic geometric pattern analyzes were transformed into parametric designs, recorded, and according to variable parameters new designs became open to creation. It is aimed to create different designs that will keep these sectors alive by triggering innovative ideas, combining them with artistic forms, by carrying out innovation work that will add value to the country's economy by contributing to productization in the architecture, construction and many manufacturing sectors, and to ensure that the historical richness of our country are made accessible and presented. Key Words: Islamic geometric patterns, Islamic art, Islamic architecture, Parametric design, Digital polygon method.
