Abstract (EN)

Decisions play an important role throughout the whole life.New investments expand the company so selection of new material transportation system is required. Four transportation vehicles are evaluated on criteria by criteria basis for appropriate transportation system. Therefore, four criteria and twenty-eight sub-criteria have been evaluated by AHP and GIA which are multi-criteria decision support system in this project.Selection of transportation system method contains not only certain-fuzzy values, but also quantitative-qualitative consideration. Selection procedure evaluates impacts of negative-positive criteria together. In addition, this method which has hierarchical structure will be used for solving real life problems. The rail systems, conveyors, trucks and appeal systems have been compared as the material handling systems. This comparison depended on cost, security, technical specifications and planning criteria. The hierarchy of this comparison composed four options, four criterias and twenty-eight sub-criterias which depended on main criteria .This hierarchy are presented in Excel tables which connected to each other. The procedure used in the study process also provided a scientific value, time-saving evaluation.Key Words:Analitic Hierarchy Process, Grey Relational Analysis,Hierarchy Grey Relation Analysis Method, Material Handling System Selection, Multi Criteria Decision Support System
