The problem of objectivity in analytic and post-analytic philosophy

In this study, the views of the thinkers of the analytic and post-analytic philosophy tradition on the problem of objectivity is evaluated. The views of analytical and post-analytical thinkers are divided into two main approaches: Thinkers who defend that epistemological objectivity requires ontological objectivity are realist; thinkers who that doesn't are anti-realist. The study consists of three parts. In the first part of the study, the views of modern philosophical thinkers on the objectivity problem is evaluated. In the second part, the views of realist thinkers in the analytic and post-analytic philosophy tradition is examined and evaluated on the basis of the objectivity problem. In the third and last part, the views of anti-realist thinkers in the analytic and post-analytic philosophy is examined and evaluated on the basis of the objectivity problem. In the conclusion part of the study, it is argued that epistemological objectivity requires ontological objectivity and the problem of objectivity in the tradition of analytic and post-analytic philosophy is a different form of the objectivity problem of modern philosophy, due to it is based on the same basis.
