"Menschen a1.1" ve "Wie Bitte? A1.1" öğretim kitaplarında okuma becerisinin öğretimine ilişkin metinlerin analizi

This study examines the way reading skill is handled in "Wie bitte?" and "Menschen" study books and workbooks which are on use for A.1.1 level of German as the second foreign language in common schools of MEB and some private schools in Turkey. Both books were studied and compared by using the qualitative research method. Foreign language in Turkey, the four essential skills of foreign language education and reading in foreign language with different types of reading were referred on the theorical part of the study. The components of a study book were referred and analysis methods are mentioned. The theorical part is completed by defining the text and text rules. Structures, books were studied in the results part. As a result, "Wie bitte?" series were founded more suitable for a student in terms of text structure for reading skill improvement in both "Wie bitte" and "Menschen" books.
