Burnout Syndrome is a public health problem that should be considered in terms of adversely affecting the family life as well as decreasing performance quality in the work environment. In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the relationship between socio-demographic characteristics and job burnout levels in anesthesiologists working in various faculties and educational research hospitals. 363 anesthesiologists participated in the survey and 350 participants were included in the study. Data were analyzed by using GraphPad Prism7 program. Emotional exhaustion was found in 75% of the physicians participating in the study, desensitization in 37,5% and low personal success in 62,5%. There is a significant relationship between burnout syndrome and some soci-demographic factors such as, assistantship, young age, living alone and, being single. As a result, it is possible to produce solutions related to burnout syndrome which affects anesthesiologists who have stressful working conditions.
