Abstract (EN)
Death is a part of our lives. Our life is meaningful because we are mortal. It is not a concept that makes everyone feel the same. It is expressed as an end as well as a beginning, even a step towards immortality. As death is in our life, the cinema also broadly discussed and worked on it. Death as a subject is always present in cinema. Cinema's approach to death is formed by its inclusion in the content in order to contribute to the development of the story. In parallel with cinema, animated films also present the audience with a different approach to the concept of death in order to add realism to their stories. In this study, how the concept of death is reflected in form and content in the animation cinema for children will be investigated, and will be examined through the animated film "Coco" (2017). Then, a 1-minute animated film called "Reversible" will be realized in which the concept of death is reflected in form and content. Keywords: Animation Cinema, Concept of Death, Form, Content
