To begin to school is very important in the life of children.Skills that learn students in her preschool term affect them in the style of school life. The study of interrelations between the school readiness and the family attitudes of children at 5-6 ages who attend the day -care centers of official banks which operate in Ankara city center. Metropolitan School Readiness Test and Jackson Family Attitude Questionaire were applied to 150 preschool (72 female, 78 male)students. Findings were analized by SPSS computer program. Results indicated that there was no significiant differance by gender. It was seen that the more education status of parents and income level of the family were been higher the more academic achievement of the students increased. It was determined that simple child was more succesful than the child who have one are more brother or sister. While children were succesful on copying any material.lt was found that there was no significiant differance between students perceptions about parent attitudent and metropolitan school readiness test. On this subject another researches could be done on different student samples.
