Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the variety, material, technique, shape, dimensions, compositional caracteristics of ceramic arts and gathering information about the historical period of these products. In this research; Geographical location and history of Ankara Province, historical development of Archeological museums, general information about Anatolian Civilisations Museum, information about art and handcrafts, definition and history of ceramic, caracteristics of traditional turkish ceramic, technics of ceramic, patterns used in turkis ceramic arts, general information about ceramic furnace, general information about the materials used in ceramic production also informations are given about the studies done about this subject. Within the purpose of this research interviews are done with the officers at Anatolian Civilisations Museum and information form of 50 units of ceramic arts located in this museum is generated. As a result of this research; very important ceramic arts are present today from the historical ages according to collected informations. The place of research is Ankara Anatolian Civilisations Museum, 50 units of ceramic arts chosen from the Ankara Anatolian Civilisations Museum formed the samples. Based on the obtained information, suggestions are given by the researcher.
