Correlation between paint and problem solution skill, center of Ankara City's medium schools of 7 class girl-boy students

ABSTRACT This research to determine between Art and Mathematics which already have been thought of corealation level for Ankara City of Central Area's Medium Schools of 7. class students who are seen the most distinctive separating of Ability and creative are including. The interaction of between Art and Mathematics which subject of resarch, leaning to the ability methods of solving problem in both dicipline area are expressed. To determine this ability, creating a problem in both dicipline and bringing measureable solvings to these problems, istatistic analysis had been applied by study to results of degree which students have, had been tried to occur. Sample of students had been applied paint with theme. These paints had been determined in Comission of Paint City of National Education by a measurement which had been invented by resarcher. After that, Target-Behaviours that covered Parts of Problem Solving Process in Mathematics Program of Elemantary School, 20 problems which developed by researcher in test method had been probed to same students and results of it had been estimated. The result of measurement in both area in same score category of geting points should be seen for istatistic analysis. The result of istatistic analysis, corealation between paint and problem solution skill of students are pozitiv. The level of this corealation can be commented as low. When look at feature of this corealation is observed as meanless. According to gender differences of students, corealation between paint and problem solution skill of girl students are pozitiv and meanless. The level of this corealation can be commented as low. Contrary to same corealation of boy students are pozitiv and meaning. The level of this corealation can be commented as medium. In the category under the paint score, correalition between technical and problem solution skill are pozitiv and meanless among the girl and boy students. viThe level of this corealation at boy students can be commented as medium. The level of this corealation at girl students can be commented as low. In the creation category of girl students corealation is negative. The level of this corealation at girl students can be commented as low. Contrary to girl students, corealation between creative and problem solution skill of boy students are pozitiv and meaning. The level of this corealation at boy students can be commented as medium. In the expression of paint elements category of girl students, corealation between expression of paint elements and problem solution skill are pozitiv and meanless. The level of this corealation at girl students can be commented as medium. In the same category, corealation between expression of paint elements and problem solution skill of boy students are pozitiv and meaning. The level of this corealation at boy students can be commented as medium. In the end of resarch elementary 7 class students' level of reaching degree to- Paint-Work and Mathematics lessons of 7 class targets whivh are including "creative thinking, developing esthetics feelings and using knowledge, skill to show creative behaviors" are low.
