The programmes that are carried out in handicraft deportment in ankara kiz sanat high school

The aim of this research is the evaulation, based on the views of students, of the programmes that are carried out in Handicraft Deportment in Ankara Kız Sanat High School. It is a descriptive research based on scanning model. The Questionnaire has been prepared by the researcher in order to abtain data that will be content of this research. And it has been applied to the students of this course. Seacrhing area is composed of the students of Handicraft Deportment Programmes in Ankara Kız Sanat High Scholl in 2005-2006 Education years. Questionnaire is applied to 100 students and the data are analised by using frequency and percent techniques. The data are shown in tables by paying attention to their percentages and, frequency for interpreting the result. When the data that are gained in the search are evaluated, it is seen that the programmes of Handicraft Deportment are loved by the students. It has been considered that the workshops in the deportment aren?t enough in terms of the quality, quanlity and equipment. And ıt has been comfirmend that the tools used in workshops aren?t compatible with the new modern technology and they aren?t enough in terms of quanlity. But the hours of course in the curriculum are found mostly enough. And it has been seen that the students in this course have their aıms. It is expressed that there are courses that must be added to the programme and innovations aren?t reflected in to the courses. Technological sources used in courses aren?t enough. But it has been seen that there are similarities between the handicrafts that are produced in these courses and in the markets. It is also seen that there is an appourtunity of exhibiting and marketing them. The students have difficulties in finding materials. Equipment aren?t enough in terms of technology. Content of the course is partially enough. Education is partially compatible with the business world. Magazines, brochwes and periodicals are mostly used as the written sources. The productive skills of the students are tried to be devoloped. The approaches of the teachers have gained the students to love the courses and the education that are given by the teachers are also sufficent.
