Silver thread embroidery on ich material applied in the lace or embroidery of silver thread workshop of the finishing (olgunlaşma) institute and the types of products

In this study the silver thread embroidery over cardboard on rich material applied in the Ankara Finishing Institute Lace or Embroidery of Silver Thread workshop and the types of products were examined. It was intended to contribute to the education and training in this field with this research.In order to access the research material 50 products made with silver thread embroidery on rich material workshop of the Ankara Finishing Institute were reviewed. In this study descriptive research model was used.The historical development of art, handwork, embroidery and silver thread embroidery were examined in the research and embroidery sheets were given by conducting professional analysis of the silver thread embroidery techniques applied in the lace or embroidery of silver gild thread workshop.The features of the products were identified in the reviews conducted according to the data form prepared. According to the data obtained from the review; the types of silver thread embroidery over cardboard on rich material prepared in the lace or embroidery of silver thread workshop, the dates they were made, the base of the embroidery, decoration and the tools used for trimming the border, the color, technique, motif and composition were determined.At the end of the research are given the conclusions reached and recommendations.
