The research about the quality of life of adolescents with separate parents in terms of some variables (Bağcılar district sample)

This research, in the academic year 2015-2016 İstanbul-Bagcılar district, aims by determining whether the quality of life of students ,with separate parents and studying public and private schools of Ministry of National Education ,changes according to some variables such as gender, age, mother's education, father's education, economic status, school type, grade level and to identify if there are relationships between these variables.In research as a data collection tool "personal information form", "quality of life scale for children (assessment of the adolescent form (13-18 years) are used.The obtained datas are analyzed in SPSS program.Arithmetic average and standard deviation values of the scores on the scales are investigated in the research about the quality of life of adolescents with separate parents in terms of some variables.'one-way Anova' test is used in normally distributed data to test whether the individuals involved in the research show any difference in terms of socio demographic way. For the determination of the socio-demographic characteristics of the individuals that comprise the sample, the "frequency analysis" and to compare with the sub-dimensions of the scale the analysis of 'variance' are done.The results of this analysis are evaluated p=.05 significance level .The results are as follows: the average of all dimensions about the perceptions of adolescents with separate parents about the quality of life; age variable, class variable, school type variable, it is revealed that the difference is significant in all dimensions. The average of all dimensions about the perceptions of adolescents with separate parents about the quality of life; mother's education, father's education and the income of the parent who have parental right ,when all variables are examined , it is revealed that the difference is significant in all dimensions. According to the results, the relationship between the quality of life and the personal informations of the adolescents with separated parents is found positive and meaningful.
