Abstract (EN)

In light of the recent interest in women's entrepreneurship studies, changing socio-cultural conditions in global markets have created a new concept. Although the concept of "mother entrepreneurship" has attracted attention in recent years as a sub-branch of women entrepreneurship, there are still some deficiencies in the literature about how and why mother entrepreneurship differs from women entrepreneurship and mainly entrepreneurship. This study aimed to investigate the studies on mother entrepreneurship with a systematic literature review. The bibliometric analysis was performed using Web of Science and Scopus databases. Two separate content analyzes were applied to the studies obtained in accordance with the research criteria and the studies were divided into themes. These analyzes are Descriptive and Thematic Analysis. The themes were classified as (a) Women and Mother Entrepreneurs in Media Representations (b) Mother Entrepreneurship on Geographical and Political Axes, (c) Gender Critical Discourse Critics and (d) Mother Entrepreneurship as a Sub-Branch of Entrepreneurship. In the light of the findings obtained as a result of the systematic literature review, suggestions for future researches about maternal entrepreneurship were discussed.
