Investigation of the effect of the behavior regulation program prepared for mothers on children who exhibit problematic behaviors in the preschool period

Aim: This study is intended to examine the effect of the behavioral regulation program for mothers who have children in the pre-school period, aged 3-6 years, on children who exhibit problematic behavior in the pre-school period. Material and Method: Research was conducted in kindergarten and kindergarten related to the Ministry of National Education in the 2021-2022 academic year of Mardin province of Artuklu as an experimental pattern with pre-test, final test and permanence test control group. The problem behavior approach Scale for mothers with children aged 3-6 years in the preschool period - Mother Form developed and the Code of Conduct Program was implemented. Data identifiable statistical methods are used in numbers, percent, average, standard deviation. The differences between the ratio of categorical variables in independent groups are that anoova, t-test was used to compare data between the Square and Fisher exact tests and the two independent groups. Results: The increase in the measurement of the problematic behavior approach Scale overall final test and overall permanence test is meaningful. The effect on mothers in the experimental group was statistically significant after the application of the behavior regulation program. Conclusion: It has been determined that the Behavioral Regulation Program for mothers has been effective on children who exhibit problematic behavior in the preschool period.
