In this research, it has been aimed at determining the opinions of local administrations in the process of making monumental statues become widespread. In order to attain the said goal, the research application was realized on the basis of different political parties which have different ideological and political perceptions and those characterized as a considerable barometer in terms of approaching the fundamental clues of the perspectives of social sectors that they represent. The questionnaire included in the Interview Form was applied to a total number of 118 participants appointed within the administrative staff of the provincial and district presidency of six (6) political parties which were predetermined in name and thereafter included within the scope, taking their representative powers into account. Following the ideological differentiation, political parties which are distinct in terms of their social base and representative spectrum were classified as those in the left and right wings of the center according to a dual basis and the main data source of the study was created taking into account the educational levels of the participants.Politicians who are characterized as the representatives of the institution of politics constitute the universal set of the research. During the designation of the sampling process; 118 participants who were assigned to the provincial and district presidencies of, in alphabetical order, Justice and Development Party (Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi- AKP), The Republican People?s Party (Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi- CHP), Democratic Party (Demokrat Parti- DP), Democratic Left Party (Demokratik Sol Parti- DSP), Nationalist Movement Party (Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi- MHP) and Social Democratic People?s Party (Sosyal Demokrat Halkçı Parti- SHP) replied the Interview Form. A total number of 19 questions in the Interview Form were posed to the political party administrators. The Interview Form was prepared in the ?question and answer? format.Interview forms were inserted in the SPSS statistics program for data analysis and graph tables were formed and assessed in respect of the results attained through the said forms. As a result of findings obtained during the research, monumental statues should be included, with a new perspective, into the objectives of cultural policies pursued by all political parties on each sides of the center and be protected against the interruptions of political powers. It has been proposed that the monumental statue as a constituent of the whole of cultural values, historical affluence and national existence should be supported by the politicians. Opportunities for offering the cultural, educational and visual affluence of the statue to the individual and the society should be enhanced.
