Abstract (EN)

Antalya, which has an important place in world history with its richness in the cultural geography it possesses and its real geographical feature that allows for the defense, constitutes the great area of many civilizations. This important region attracted the attention of the Turks who organized raids several times in Anatolia for the purpose of conquest. The first contact of Antalya with the Seljuk authority was in during I. Rükneddin Mesud in 1120, when he took the castle of Uluborlu from the Byzantines and proceeded to Antalya. The son of Kutalmış, who was later assigned to the conquest of Anatolia, captured Pamphylia during the reign of Suleyman Shah. After a lot of military conflicts, from time to time interrupted by small interruptions to change, in sequence in 1207 for the first time Giyaseddin Keyhüsrev's, the second time in 2016, Izzettin Keykavus's Antalya, even in 1221 Alaaddin Keykubat Alanya's conquest came under the administration of the Seljuks. Following the completion of the historical role of the Anatolian Seljuk State, Antalya was the movement area of the sons of Hamid and Alanya the sons of Karaman.In our study, in the Anatolian Seljuk State and the Principalities Period, the buildings which were in the center of the important development activities of the period, Alanya and the surrounding settlements were identified one by one. To examine and evaluate the value of the inscriptions on a specific basis in terms of writing, aesthetics and language. The structures were identified individually. First of all, a combination of Persian and Arabic works, including travellers, and local and foreign works were examined and the structures were identified one by one. Besides personal photographs taken, the photographs provided by the Regional Directorate of Foundations and the archives of the museum were scanned and the visuals were collected. This study was done by re-reading the inscriptions found on the structures which were constructed, repaired or converted during the period of Anatolian Seljuks and Principalities, and examined them in terms of text, exponent, language and thesis.
