Attitude of rational drug use in Antalya Training and Research Hospital staff and patients

ABSTRACT ATTITUDE OF RATIONAL DRUG USE IN ANTALYA TRAINING AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL STAFF AND PATIENTS Rational use of drugs within the framework of specific criteria, is an important health practice in triangle of pharmacy-patient-physician. In recent years, some of the projects supported by public institutions, this application must be carried out on the basis of certain principles and responsibilities. In particular responsibilities to be taken in prescribing and rational drug use policies are of great importance. On the other hand, irrational drug use; caused by habits, doctors, patients, the working environment, drug delivery system, the drug industry, reasons related to drug costs and expenses. However, some of the initiatives to be implemented in order to promote rational drug use in Turkey. These initiatives, may target to the doctors or community. At this point, some of the studies carried out in recent years and the methods to be followed are available. In connection with all this, Antalya Education and Research Hospital of research on the rational use of medicines for health professionals and patients with significant findings in this study were obtained and analyzed.
