Seasonal workers in antalya: Social networks in agriculture, construction and tourism

This study focuses on the labor strategies that are shaped within the framework of informal employment practices, the mediation mechanisms that are spreading as a result of informal practices, the reflection of these mechanisms to the current labor market and employees, the institution of the townsman clientelist relationship which includes certain strategies specific to the labor market and the coffeehouses where all the mentioned qualities are realized are taken as basis of the city center of Antalya. In the light of the findings obtained as a result of a field study that includes labor coffeehouses in Antalya city center, work places covering agricultural activities and the places where touristic activities are carried out, it is tried to explain how changing market conditions are understood from the eyes of workers.
