Abstract (EN)
Paramedics are the premise providers and integral parts of health care in disaster and medical emergencies. Health services should be provided and organized in every field and condition where people exist. While it is more possible to provide full and permanent occupational health and safety conditions in institutional and established service areas, working conditions for healthcare workers in providing health services for people in emergency and extraordinary situations involve much more danger and risk. Especially in the first and emergency services, healthcare workers are more affected, damaged, and even lost their lives. In the study, it was aimed to evaluate the competence of Paramedics working in Emergency Health Services by themselves with their associate degree training and in-service training they received in working life. The universe of the research consists of paramedics working in 112 Emergency Health Services in Antalya. A questionnaire form developed by the researchers after the literature review was used as a data collection tool in the study. The questionnaire form consists of two parts. In the first part, questions about sociodemographic variables; In the second part, there are questions about the Training Sufficiency of the Paramedic Program According to Paramedics.
