Abstract (EN)
This study aims to define the natural spread areas of erect crab in Antalya, an unique forest tree. Additionally, this study aims to study certain ecological, ethno botanical, morphological and biochemical properties, make molecular, palinological and anatomical diagnoses, together with the determination of the possibilities of reproduction with seed, scion and tissue culture applications. During our field observations, it is perceived that erect crabs are distributed in the cool and rainy regions above 700 m in Antalya, generally as in single tree forms. For the identification of the flowers, leaves and fruits morphology, certain counts and measurements were made using the Minolta measuring device in order to determine the color parameters. Moisture, ash, vitamin C, TSS (brix), acidity (in malic acid) and pH values were determined in fruit samples. Composition of volatile aroma synthesis was examined with gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC- MS) device. Phenolic/ flavonoid matter analyzes were carried out with spectrophotometers in the flowers, leaves and fruit samples of the ethno-botanical species, which are of great importance in their regions. In terms of fruit properties and phenolic matters, the samples of the Ibradi, Murtiçi and Gömbe location were rise to prominence. In the volatile aroma profile analysis, 2- hexanal, amyl alcohol, hexanal, butyl acetate, ethyl caprylate and ethyl caproate components were found in varying amounts in all erect crab samples. Total phenolic substance, total amount of flavonoid and antioxidant activity analysis, indicates that it is of great importance to evaluate flowers, leaves and fruits of erect crab as natural phenolic and antioxidant sources. One other objective of this research is, to reach molecular, anatomical and palynological definitions by giving particular importance to the Gömbe population samples, which became synonymous while being a separate variant (Eriolobus trilobatus (Labill. ex Poir.) M. Roem. var. sorgerae Browicz). Our results confirmed that in the population of Gömbe, there were some morphological / anatomical differences, there were some morphological / anatomical differences, but there are neither any variety differences due to the young age of the trees nor depending on microclimate feature with cold, low rain and humid. Seed, scion and tissue culture applications were made in our replication studies. Within different pretreatments, no successful germination occurred except for cold-damp folding. It was also observed that the location, feature, genotype, cold folding degree / duration, folding material and germination environment are some of the many factors which are effective on germination. The best germination rate was determined with 10 weeks fold and the best germination speed was achieved with 12 weeks fold. However, rooting was not achieved in both years. Successful sterilization and germination were obtained from seed samples during tissue culture studies, yet contamination was an important problem in shoot tip samples. Best results of the new shoot output were achieved under Murashige ve Skoog (MS) with 3 µm 6-Benzylaminopurine (BAP) circumstances. The generative propagation of this species, which has the potential to be evaluated in the fruit growing, medical plants and landscaping sectors, can be accomplished even at sea level. Nevertheless, it was found that more specific conditions should be provided for vegetative propagation.
