Meskhetian Turks living in Antalya socio - cultural problems

Migration and forced migration as a real life experience, are a concept which affect social and cultural dynamics in all societies. Because Meskhetian Turks are affected by migration concept directly, cultural condition and integration problems of Meskhetian Turks who live in Antalya are very important. In this study, process of building a new life, integration problems and affects on socio-cultural structure of Meskhetian Turks who live in Antalya today and who have been subject to Soviet cycle's forced migration execution has been researched. With this aim, interviews have been conducted with Meskethian Turks who have been witnessed and lived the affects of migration and who live in Antalya. Study results have been discussed with Weberian approach according to race discrimination, social closeness, asimilation fear, social unity and sorrow cause of loss titles. Meskhetian Turks, lost anything from their Turkishness and they succeed about maintaining cultural heritage of Turks despite they have been relegated to a large area and due to that lived in a large geography. The most important problem that Meskethian Turks experience in Antalya even they have a career; they can't have a chance perform their career due to several reasons. Big part of Meskethian Turks are working in tourism area, a few of them have their own business and make trade. Most of them have financial challenges because of leaving their all wealth before they came to Turkey. Challenges that came with building a new life in a new place is trying to be handled with cultural unity and large family cooperation.
