Abstract (EN)
Eco tourism is a type of tourism that is primarly focused on environmental conservation and aims to contribute to the budget of the local public in the visited area. The development of highland tourism which has been positive effects on human health, and is a variety of ecotourism, with health tourism within alternative tourism, is of great importance for the Antalya region. Our country can be increased health tourism the revenues and foreign currency inputs. Tourism in this region by extending throughout the year can lead to numbers of employment in the tourism industry. Additionally, the development of advanced age and disabled tourism, which is the third kind of health tourism in the Antalya region, is feasible. In this context, the opinions of individuals participating in tourism activities and the local community are crucial for the development of highlands to contribute to health tourism. This study aims to measure the opinions of participants regarding whether the highlands in Antalya region will contribute to health tourism or not. In this context, firstly has been described tourism and health tourism notions. The next section contains information about eco tourism and its various types. In the third section, are presented highlands in the region and their particularities. The final section includes details about the research methodology and evidences. The research involved the analysis of 479 survey forms using the SPSS 15.0 (2006) program and have been conducted reliability analysis, normality tests, independent samples T-test, one-way ANOVA, and Games-Howell post hoc multiple comparison. According to the obtained results, the majority of participants indicate that highlands will have positive contributions to health tourism.
