Human beings since existance, live with earth as integrated. When human beings at primitive ages found fire, they started to cook in order to harden bowl , pottery and idols that they had done from the clay. However, this action is only for satisfying their daily needs. Starting pottery as a job actualized when migrant tribes being transferred to settled formation at Neolitical age. This period has become a stage for initiating of trade because of agriculture, cattle-dealing, textile. Developments at agriculture and trade commenced pottery by increasing the need of pot. In this argument, working life of potters in Ancient Greek where pottery has been respected as an important branch of art, is analyzed. This analysis is done according to the pictures of potters? working life in 5th and 6th B.C. that are portrayed on offer plates and various vases. Greek vase painters pictured all subjects related to daily life , mythology as well as pottery. These pictures are very detailed if they are lined up, it is possible to watch it as a fiction with pictures and you can see all phases beginning from potters? taking out clay till selling the products that they did. Here; giving information about Ancient Greek pottery with the light of these stages is aimed.
