Abstract (EN)
In research dealing with humanity and history we are able to garner detailed and scientific findings. Even so, it is difficult to fathom the social forces that prompt ideas and acts in cultural history. Similarly the idea of theater, of which we have an abundance of historical data about, is an enigma when trying to determine which societies or clans first came up with it. In an era lacking objective written evidence we must, in essence form bridges between our theories and the archaeological findings thereof. In this context, the answer to the question ?When did theater emerge??, the history of theater starts alongside that of humanity. The first and foremost, perhaps the only unifying thought in the clans, which were the first social groupings of man, is religion. One of the most important findings in this research was that religion and belief systems influence culture and therefore as a direct product of culture, theatrical values. From the ritual dances of the Neanderthalian shamans to the choruses of antiquity calling out to Dionysos and the other gods, the sacrifices in the name of the empire cult in ancient Rome and the plays in the name of the emperor, the influences of religion on theaters is evident. Today, how we perceive theater has once again changed in accordance with time and culture. Elements such as expressions of social and political events and absurd comedies have found their own niches in theater and taken such perception far from the theater of ancient times. The many fine arts activities taking place around the world in the very remains of these ancient theaters are likewise far from explaining the ancient theater perspective?
