Abstract (EN)

Thanks to human creativity, one of the most important features of human beings, it feels like information and communication technology (ICT) is progressing faster than ever. The purpose of this research is to study the impact of the levels of IT use by trainers working in our country on creative personality characteristics. Moreover, it is necessary to examine attitudes of coaches towards using ICT and creative personality characteristics in terms of various variables to determine whether there are significant differences or not. The descriptive screening model of this sample research consists of 2-nd and higher level of 236 trainers working in our country. To collect data, a personal information form created by a researcher and consultant, the creative personal qualities scale (CPQS) developed by Shaheen and Danishman (2017), and the ICT attitudes scale developed by Gunbatar (2014) were applied for the research. Upon analyzing the data, the SPSS 20.0 package program was used and the margin of error was considered less than 0,05. The number, percentage and standard deviation were used as descriptive statistical methods to evaluate data. As a result of the analyses performed, it was found that the data were not distributed normally and Mann Whitney U-test was used for paired comparisons, while Kruskal Wallis H-test was used for more than two comparisons. According to the results of the research, significant differences were found in creative personality characteristics of trainers, depending on their gender, educational status, and the place where the tests were performed. Regarding the trainers' IT attitude, significant differences were identified depending on their gender, technological education status, education status, and daily computer usage time (P<0,05). As a result, it was concluded that the higher IT usage level by trainers, the less their creativity. The results showed that there is significantly reducing effect of IT on trainers creativity because trainers use less effort to get any information they want from internet now easier than ever before.
