Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine the technology usage levels of football coaches in Turkiye. In this context, football coaches' use of technological devices such as tablets, phones and computers was investigated, and information about the coaches' technology usage level and similar data was collected and examined. A survey form containing questions in two parts, "General Information" and "Technology Usage Scale", was used in the research. During the 2023-2024 football season, 315 coaches (306 men, 9 women) participated in the study voluntarily. The statistical significance level is .05 and since it was determined that the data did not show a normal distribution, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used in the analysis of the data. The internal consistency Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the scale was determined as α=.780 in this study. Coaches' technology usage levels are above the average score. When the findings are analyzed; while there was no significant difference between the technology usage levels of coaches according to age, gender, education level, coach license held, league status, and duration of time worked as a coach (p>0.05), a significant difference was found in terms of daily internet usage time (p<.05). It has been concluded that as football coaches' daily internet usage time increases, their technology usage levels also increase.
