Abstract (EN)

Apameia, especially in Hellenistic and Roman time was so important city. It has a considirable geographical location at the east-west trade route. After Ephesos, Apameia was the most important city in Asia Minor for Roman empire. That can be understood from city coins. Because of the excavations that made in the area are so insufficient, ther is a few knowledge about architectural structure. Therefore, I treid to search the history of city and geographical characteristic from coins and its historical sources.
