To preparation pattern mould and instructional program for the technique of applique with the eos-compucon embroidery design programme for computer-aided embroidery machines

Firstly, in this study, processing the technique of applique is determined by examined in terms of pattern, subject, composition used materials, technique, color , edge-cleaning features. An education program aimed to prepare a proposal for to apply the technique of applique in Computerized embroidery machines and preparation of design pattern which is including all phases.Applique and embroidered products of 82 pieces, available on the market, examined and photographs were taken and documented. Application areas of products, used fastening techniques, colors, ornaments, fabrics, auxiliary apparatus and composition features are recorded in the form of information.As a result of the examination, the children badies are the most common products these are embroided with applique on the market. Fabrics of processed on the ground with applique of %54 are combed cotton. As well as, velvet, combed cotton, denim, flax, tericoton, knitting, polar, satin, towel, nylon, akfil and tulle had been used. Embroided with applique of fabrics %42 are combed cotton. Auxiliaries equipments of %78 is Floss silk which they are used in embroidery applique work products. At the Embroidery applique work products had been used mostly wrapping, decorative stitching and sewing fastening techniques. Usually, used to needle sewing and china as the auxiliary needle. The light colors are used on the ground of embroidery applique work products but the pink, cream, white e.t.c. colors used at the lace of embroidery applique work products.On the EOS-Compucon Embroidery Design System and applique technique teaching program are aimed cognitive, affective and psychomotor objectives.
