Abstract (EN)

In this study, two different designs for systems where diagnosis processes can be performed using various OBD-II services on a vehicle with ISO 15765-4 CAN (11 bit ID, 500 Kbaud) data line are discussed. Arduino UNO R3, an ATmega328P-based microcontroller board with ELM327 and SeedStudio CAN BUS Shield support, was used for diagnosis. While the data exchange between the ELM327 and the computer was carried out through a serial communication interface program called Termite, the program written in C programming language and embedded in Arduino UNO R3 was created through the Arduino IDE compiler. By accessing the internal combustion engine and transmission electronic control units of the test vehicle over the data line, all supported OBD-II services were operated, and necessary analyzes related to these services were carried out.
