Özet (EN)
The popular uprisings in the Arab world began in 2011. During the anti-regime uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya, women from all walks of life went out on the streets against the governments of their countries and participated in protests in the squares. Women in the Arab Spring have sought equality for women in the transition processes following the overthrow of authoritarian regimes in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. However, expectations did not materialize. In this study, the effect of Arab Spring on women's rights and the situation of women in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya are evaluated comparatively with the examples of these countries and the effect of Arab Spring on women is examined.
