Arabic teaching model for non-Arabs Jordan Yarmouk University Merkezü'l-lugat and İnönü University Faculty of Theology preparatory class example

Language is an element whose necessity cannot be deneied in order to ensure communication between individuals and societies. Language is also atool which is in use to recognize and understand the culture, lifestyle, idea and belief structure of asociety. Every language being learned opens new horizons for people and gives a different perspective with new societies they got to know. Arabic unique to the Arap society, is a systematic structure that has become a means of communication by organizing verbal interaction over time and integrating with cultural elements. This systematic structure has developed over the generations and has brought the accumulation of the past to the present by acting as a bridge between the past and the future of the Arap society. Arabic is deep- rooted language that continues its existence by being accepted as the offical language o countries today as was in the past. Depending on the changing and developing World conditions, it is important to learn and teach a second language today. In today's World where technology is advancing swiftly, the importance of intercultural interaction and communication is increasing. Communities with various cultures have had the opportunity benefit from educational opportunities, see different countries and meet new people. These developments have increased the need for people with a second language who can communicate in different languages. As a result of the research and analysis carried out in this study, first of all, language phenomenon, after giving information about Arabic language and Arabic teaching, Jordan Yarmouk University Language Center's Arabic teaching method techniques and tools used for language teaching in the center were examined and Arabic education of the center was evaluated. At the same time, the Arabic education of ınonu Faculty / Theology Preparatory Class, materials, methods and techniques used were discussed, and the attitudes towards Arabic language were measured with the questionnaire conducted to the studying in both istitutions.
